Paid Time Off
Our progressive paid time off (PTO) plan ensures employees can recharge and maintain a healthy work-life balance. Employees earn ten days of PTO in their first one to three years, fifteen days from four to nine years, and twenty days for ten or more years of service, reflecting our commitment to their well-being.
Paid Personal Time
At Rome, employees accrue eight hours of personal time for every quarter worked, up to thirty-two hours per fiscal year. This time can be used for personal illness or to care for a family member, ensuring our team members can prioritize their health and their loved ones.
Holiday Pay
Eligible for holiday pay after ninety days, Rome employees can enjoy paid holidays, including New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Christmas Day. This benefit underscores our dedication to work-life harmony.
Life & Disability Insurance
Rome provides life insurance coverage that offers a year’s worth of wages to employees’ beneficiaries in the event of their death. Additionally, full-time employees receive disability insurance to replace part of their income if they cannot work for more than three months.
Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance
We cover 100 percent of the cost for employee-only medical, dental, and vision insurance. After sixty days of employment, we extend this fifty percent coverage to include family members, demonstrating our commitment to comprehensive health care.
IRA
Our Simple IRA plan includes a three percent match and is available after ninety days of employment. We encourage employees to invest fully in their Franklin Templeton IRA, promoting financial stability and future planning.
EAP Services
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) offers confidential, company-sponsored counseling, consultation, and resources. Available 24/7/365, this service supports our employees and their families in managing personal and professional challenges.
Gear Reimbursement
On the first of the month following their first sixty days of employment, Rome employees can receive up to two hundred and fifty dollars per fiscal year for new, branded or unbranded gear from our providers. After purchasing new equipment, employees can submit receipts to Human Resources for reimbursement within thirty days.
